Pompeii - Private Tour

I think all of us grew up with the story of Pompeii and how it was buried by the eruption of Mt Vesuvius. So when the opportunity came to go and see this place it was a no brainer that I was going to go. Yarmouth, Nova Scotia - Agency Expedition Cruise with Hurtigruten - Photos

If you want to feel very important, go on a expedition cruise to Yarmouth. It seems the entire town knew we were coming and the Mayor of Yarmouth, a Councilman, and a Mayor from a near by town were at the docks waiting to greet us. The town opened some of its shops early for us and everywhere we went we were greeted with warm smiles and welcomes. If you do get a chance to go to Yarmouth be sure to stop in at the county museum. They have a very nice museum that tell the story of the area with some wild and wacky exhibits. You have to make sure you go downstairs to see the whole thing. It was Lobster Season while we were there and they had their fishing fleet out in force. This was such a beautiful, friendly stop along our way on our expedition cruise with Hurtigruten.
