Published Tuesday, July 18th 2017 - Updated Wednesday, August 16th 2017Can you believe that 2017 is half over? Time flies when you are having fun! It helps that this business has grown into a lovely adventure that we get to take together. There is something new going on every day and it keeps us on our toes. We have had the opportunity to meet some truly wonderful people and our travel family continues to grow. We feel very fortunate to have all of you in our lives.
What’s New: We recently returned from a River Cruise on the Danube River with Avalon Waterways. We did a three day pre-trip to Prague and stayed an extra night in Budapest. What a fantastic experience this has been! If you are interested we would love to share our experience and learning's with you. Check out our posts on Facebook, twitter or Instagram. Or if you prefer, we are also in the process of loading a handful of pictures from each location that we visited under the Travel Agent tab on our website: www.LindsayTravelProfessionals.com
Come With Us: We only have a few staterooms left in our group space for an Alaska Cruise with Holland America next summer. Let us know if you are interested in Alaska and would like to take advantage of great pricing. We also have a few staterooms available in our group space for the Active Danube River cruise for next summer. Now is the best time to book both of these bucket list vacations. Prices will not go lower and the sales will be ending soon.
Did You Know: United Airlines is rolling out new technology to combat the problem of overbooked flights? Available only to passengers who book directly on United.com passengers will be sent an email on overbooked flights five days prior to their departure. They will be asked if they are flexible in the schedules. If the passenger responds that they are flexible they will be re-issued tickets for flights on the same day using the same airports and receive a $250.00 voucher for their next flight. It will be interesting to see if this new system helps to overcome the stress of overbooked flights.
Tips and Tricks: Do you have a long over-seas flight in your future? Give Premium Economy a try if you haven’t already. Premium Economy is the marriage between Business Class and Economy Class. You get extra room, better service and a nice amenities pack. It’s more expensive than Economy but less than Business. It’s a wonderful way to get to your next destination without breaking the bank!
