Travel Gadgets To Make Life Easier

Let’s face it, I’m usually a very low maintenance person but every once-in-a-while, you need to splurge on something that really makes your life easier.  When it comes to travel, we have found some pretty cool and not so well known travel gadgets that you might just want to splurge on!

 

Laundry Soap Sheets:  These handy sheets dissolve instantly in water and allow you to hand wash items in the sink when traveling.  Perfectly sized and easy to carry, they are also TSA compliant and don’t count towards your 3-1-1 allotment.  If you are a clutz like me, these really come in handy!

 

Trtl Pillow:  We have all seen those bulky or blow up neck pillows designed to support your head while sleeping in a sitting position.  Well, the next generation of neck support has arrived in the form of the Trtl pillow.  Designed by engineers, this support system is more like a wrap than a pillow.  Light weight and easy to transport the Trtl pillow wraps around your neck and has a semi flexible frame that supports your head while sleeping.  If you are creative, you can use it for other functions as well.

 

Tile:  These nifty little devices are small, compact, and light weight.  Designed to help you find anything from keys to your bike, Tile uses your phone and Bluetooth to track items.  It can even help you find your phone!  Never lose your keys, wallet, backpack, laptop, camera, or luggage again!

 

Foldable Sunglasses:  Making sure to carry all the things you will need on vacation can sometimes take up more room than you would like.  Foldable sunglasses allow you to get some of the essentials in your carry on without taking up much room.  What’s not to like about protecting your eyes and saving space?

 

Small Basic First Aid Kit:  If you are a regular reader of our blog, then you know that I am a big fan of being prepared with a first aid kit.  I have mentioned them several times before.  Small first aid kits come in all shapes and sizes but it's important to at least have the basics with you.  I also make certain that I have a small supply of pain relievers with me at all times.  You just never know when a headache will attack.

 

Body Glide Anti Blister Foot Balm:  Body Glide products are well known to runners; however, they have practical uses for the nonrunners as well.  If you plan to do a lot of walking or hiking the foot balm is the perfect solution.  Designed to keep blisters at bay this product could save you a lot of foot pain on your next big adventure!  I’ve been down that road, it’s not pretty…
