Travel First Aid Kits
Published Friday, April 14th 2017Life just loves throwing curve balls at us, even when we are on vacation. But there are simple things you can do to lessen their effect. I have mentioned before in previous blogs that I always carry a first aid kit. I have learned the hard way that it is best to be prepared for as many of life’s curve balls as possible. But you can’t take everything or you won’t have room for anything else. So what do I keep in my first aid kit? Glad you asked!
The Basics:
- Bandages
- Antibiotic Ointment
- Alcohol Wipes
- Gauze Pads
- First Aid Tape
- Pain Relievers
- Ace Bandage
- Instant Ice Packs
Good to Haves:
- Cold/Allergy Medications
- Airborne
- Throat Lozenges
- Upset Stomach Medications
- Anti-Diarrheal Medication
- Constipation Medications
- Blister Pads
- Burn Pad
- Aloe for Sunburn
Somethings that you should always have on vacation but not necessarily in a first aid kit:
- Hat
- Sun Glasses
- Sunscreen Lip Balm
- Sunscreen
You don’t have to have large packages. It is a little pricey but individual use packets are fantastic for this type of a travel kit.
