Do you dream of packing your bags and traveling through Great Britain?  Now is the perfect time to check England off your bucket list.  Why? You might ask.  The perfect storm has come together to make 2018 one of the best times to visit this beautiful part of the world.  And just in time!  So what has happened that makes visiting England so perfect?  Read on my friend and find out!

First, we all heard about Brexit.  So what does that have to do with travel?  A great deal as it turns out.  Historically the English Pound has been stronger than the dollar making exchange rates high.  This translates to your dollar not going as far and raising the price of visiting the country.  Brittan’s decision to leave the European confederation left everyone with uncertainty and weakened the English Pound significantly.  Right now, the dollar is strong against the pound making the exchange rate in its favor.  This brings down the cost of visiting.

That in and of itself is remarkable and a great reason to put England on your list of places to visit this year.  But it gets a little bit better.  Two airline carriers have joined the mix of airlines servicing the route.  Ryan Air and Norwegian Air have both launched discounted flights from the United States to England.  Their presence in the marketplace has actually brought the price of airline tickets to this region and to Europe as a whole.

Planning ahead is key and knowing the ins and outs of travel helps too, but travel to Europe and England specifically has become much more affordable.  Why not take advantage of the weak Pound and plan your next vacation to England.  The mysteries of the world are calling.  Can you hear it?
