If you haven't heard about the newest attraction opening up this May at Disney World, then you are probably not a fan of Disney!  Pandora, the world of Avatar is opening up on May 27^th, 2017 and is located in the Animal Kingdom Park of Disney World.  This new section of the park promises to bring the world of Avatar to life.

 

In addition to the gravity-defying floating mountains, Disney has developed a phosphorescent world that glows at night.  You can ride a banshee in a new 4D ride that promises to make you believe you are truly on a banshee.  You can raft down a river under the lush jungle canopy of Pandora where plants come to life and glow.  Food options reflect the life on Pandora and they have created a new app that allows you to pre-order your food then let the kitchen know when you arrive so that it is hot and ready for you.

 

Disney’s “fastpass” option is ready for reservations at the park already.  If you stay at one of the park’s many hotel resorts you can enjoy extra magical hours in Pandora.  You can be in the park after it closes to the general public and enjoy the phosphorescent glow of the plants and wildlife depicted in the movie Avatar.  These extra hours are only for a limited time.  Be sure to call your travel agent to get the best deal and get in before the magic hours evaporate!  You don’t want to miss this!
