March 2020 Newsletter
Published Tuesday, March 17th 20202020 sure does know how to keep us all on our toes. What an interesting year this has been thus far. We sincerely hope that this email finds you well and enjoying the new year. It looks like 2020 is determined to be a roller coaster.
We have always understood our value and what we bring to the table but the outbreak of the coronavirus has punctuated that value with an exclamation point! We are sometimes asked, “Why should I book my vacation with you instead of an online travel seller like Costco?”
Many of our clients will attest to the fact that when they were faced with a “situation” that threatened to cancel or interrupt their vacations, it was our handling of the situation and advocacy on their behalf that convinced them to never book with anyone else again and to send their friends and family to us. We spend many hours working on behalf of our clients to ensure that their travel is as stress-free as humanly possible.
We feel terrible for people that booked with Costco during this “situation” we are now facing. However, many of our clients are already rebooked and made whole or we have a plan in place to get them to that point. Others are in the works and we are still working with some on a Plan B for their vacation. Every. Single. One. No long waits, no arguments, just one phone call or email to us and we become their problem solvers and advocates.
That is why you should trust your vacation to travel professionals with experience traveling the world and know how to get things done for YOU in a crisis.
Next month we will be flying to Barcelona to spend time exploring Spain with our family. This is a special trip that we have been planning with our family to celebrate the fantastic accomplishments of our son who is graduating from college. We have all been planning and looking forward to this trip for months. Are we checking reliable sources to stay informed? Absolutely. Have we considered canceling our trip? Not at all. We will not unless travel to Spain becomes restricted.
Don’t avoid travel – be smart about how you travel.
