Spring is such a wonderful time of year!  Easter is right around the corner, flowers are starting to bloom, and the days are getting longer and warmer.  It has been a crazy winter but we are not going to complain.  Life is good and we hope this email finds you doing the things you love.  Here is a little bit of what we are up to.

 

What’s New:  We have been selected to go on an expedition cruise with Hurtigruten!  We are so excited to have the opportunity to experience this expedition cruise line and see what they have to offer.  So, what is an expedition cruise?  These are cruises that are designed to get up close and personal with a destination.  Hurtigruten is most known for their Norwegian Coast cruises but they also explore Antarctica and areas north of the arctic circle!  Their ships are built to go through ice and are small enough to get into small bays and coves.  We get to explore Nova Scotia and St. Lawrence Bay with Hurtigruten and we couldn’t be more excited!

 

Come With Us:  Is Scotland on your bucket list?  We are planning an escorted tour of Scotland for the summer of 2019.  If you have ever wanted to explore Scotland’s highlands, cities, and islands then you really need to come along with us.  We will be going during the Military Tattoo and we are excited that it will be part of the tour.  We will be taking this trip in memory of our niece, Kristen Griffiths, who lost her battle with inflammatory breast cancer.  This was a trip she had planned before her diagnosis and was unable to go before she lost her battle.  Help us honor her and cross a destination off of your bucket list at the same time!

 

Did You Know:  It has been in the news but if you haven’t been paying attention, you might have missed it.  You will have to have your driver’s license updated if you want to use it as a form of ID when traveling.  Idaho has been granted an extension so the deadline for updating your driver’s license to the new Real ID is now October 1, 2020.  The original deadline was January 22, 2018.  If you have had your driver’s license renewed lately you have probably experienced the new ID requirements.  If not, make sure you get it done before 2020.  It sounds far away but you know how quickly time flies when you are having fun!
