Looking for an opportunity for a “staycation”?  Have I got a suggestion for you!  There is a fabulous new hotel in Ketchum that will make your next staycation one for the record books.  What is so special about this hotel?  Glad you asked.

 

Located on Main street in Ketchum this beautiful, contemporary hotel is right in the middle of everything.  Shopping and restaurants are just steps away.  Not enough to entice you?  Good, because there is more.  Limelight is close to Bald Mountain and if you don’t feel like driving there yourself, the hotel will shuttle you over.  During the winter you can go skiing and during the summer you can go hiking and biking.  It is ideally located in the middle of all there is to do in the Ketchum/Sun Valley area.

 

Besides being a beautiful, Limelight has much to offer.   With five different room categories to choose from, there is a room to fit your needs.  Each room, besides having all the wonderful appointments you would expect, has a microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, and dishes.  You could easily walk to the grocery store and buy supplies to cook snacks and even fix a meal. They built in a ton of extra storage throughout the room for  those who are active and have a lot of gear.  There is a place for almost everything.

 

If you like open and comfortable public areas, you will love the Limelight Hotel.  In the Lobby, there is a beautiful lounge area that has a fireplace and several conversation areas.  Next to the lobby lounge area, you will find tables set up with computers for your convenience.  There is a second lounge area that is large and open and has a beautiful outdoor lounge adjacent to it.  Modern and contemporary this hotel is a wonderful gathering spot.  They often rent out their terrace and they have a boardroom and conference room for rent should you want to hold meetings, receptions, or wedding luncheons.  Want more?  Good, because next to the terrace is a pool and hot tub area with more space to sit, relax, and enjoy the outdoors.

 

The amenities just keep coming.  Because the hotel is in the middle of all the action, and it takes up the entire block, they have built underground parking into their site.  It is so well disguised that if you weren’t looking for it, you probably wouldn’t see it.  The parking is an additional charge but it comes with its own remote door opener.   Complimentary breakfast is served each day in the lounge and it is a very nice breakfast.  There is something for just about everyone.

 

Now, if that is not enough for you, there are activities available.  The hotel offers bikes for rent, maps of the hiking trails nearby, a stargazing planetarium night, bike and hike with the botanical gardens thrown in.  Or you could do Yoga on the terrace to get your day going in the right direction.  During the winter and summer months, Limelight partners with local breweries and national microbreweries to bring a specialty dinner paired with beer or wine.  There is truly something for everyone.
