Azamara ships are floating boutique hotels.  You will find fine linens and well-appointed staterooms.  The ships have undergone extensive refurbishing in 2018 and will be launching their newest ship in August of 2018 when Azamara Journey and Azamara Quest will be joined by Azamara Pursuit.  In spite of their luxurious appointments throughout the ships, the atmosphere is relaxed and casual.  There are no formal nights ever.  One fun tradition that they uphold on every cruise is the White Night.  Everyone dresses in white and they attend a dinner on the pool deck with festivities and dancing.  It is a wonderful celebration enjoyed by all.  There are six different venues to find food through out the day and well into the night including 24-hour room service. 

 

How Large Are Azamara Ships

 

The largest of their ships, Azamara Pursuit; which will launch this August, carries a maximum passenger load of 709 passengers.  The other two ships, Azamara Quest and Azamara Journey each carry a maximum of 690 passengers.  These are small nimble ships that can dock in ports that mass market and premium ships are too large to reach.  Their itineraries will take you to all seven continents and to more unexpected ports than any other cruise line.
