Prague is a beautiful city and once you are there it is easy to see why it is on so many bucket lists!  We had the good fortune to spend three days in Prague and it was marvelous.  Mostly escaping the ravages of WWII, Prague's old town remains intact.  That is truly a good thing.  We had jet lag on the first day, so we decided to take an early morning stroll through old town.  I am so glad we did.  We were able to see some of the most iconic spots almost alone.  Such a beautiful city and so full of history.  Here are a few of our favorite photos from Prague!

This show some of the rich detail poured into the Prague Cathedral.  Hard to imagine the amount of time and labor involved with carving this out of stone.

This is a close up of the Astrological Clock.  It is located on the side of the old Town Hall (which is currently undergoing restoration work).  In old town square it is easy to spot the clock.  Just look for the large crowd waiting for the clock to chime.  Each figure moves.

Charles Bridge is truly a beautiful sight to see.  Normally the bridge is packed with people but thanks to jet lag we had the chance to see it sans the crowds.  Pictured here are the towers at the end of Charles Bridge.  If you look closely you can see some of the sculptures that line the bridge on either side.

The Charles Bridge from the down river.  If you move to the up river spot you can see the ice barriers.

There are only a few of these left in the Czech Republic.  It is a very old church.  Not many of these round churches left.
